Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is an anxiety state which is marked by recurrent, unwanted thoughts or images (obsessions) and unwanted, repetitive behaviors (compulsions). Common obsessions include fear of contamination from germs, or fear from harm; common compulsions include excessive handwashing and rechecking locked doors.
