In their book, The China Study, T. Colin Campbell and Thomas M. Campbell show on page 190 a chart that shows a perfect correlation between countries that consume the highest amount of Cow's milk and the incidence of Type 1 diabetes.
It could be something like lactose intolerance and the consumption of milk. A few wrong genes plus milk may do it.
Substances like growth hormones,and antibiotics could play a part, but since Type 1 diabetes has been around before these were used it would seem that the formula for Type 1 diabetes is bad genes+cow's milk.
